LightSheer® uses a state-of-the-art diode laser technology with a wavelength of either 805nm or 1060nm. A precise laser pulse targets the hair follicle while leaving the skin unharmed.
With LightSheer®, we can treat any skin type including dark and tanned skin. Another benefit is its ability to treat a multitude of skin concerns other than hair removal such as wrinkle reduction, benign pigmented, and vascular lesions.
Multiple studies have shown that it is the most effective Wavelength for hair removal. Other modalities, such as IPL are not specific for laser hair removal. They are not only less effective but can leave permanent damage such as burns and hypopigmentation.
The Hair Growth Cycle
The anagen phase is the active hair growth phase.
